Heat accumulator is a steel reservoir of cylindrical shape, which accumulates and stores the hot water. The available heat accumulator minimizes the loss of heat energy and significantly reduces the energy consumption; such accumulator is an integral part in modern complex heating system and has the economical benefit in itself. Depending on modification, the heat accumulators may function together with solar collectors, solid fuel boilers, gas boilers, heat pumps, electric heaters and other energy sources. You can connect some such sources to the heat accumulator at the same time.

It is recommended to use the tanks-heat accumulators with volumes from 300 to 2,000 l in systems with natural and forced circulation. Such accumulating reservoir of the simplest configuration is a steel vertical tank, which height by 3-5 times exceeds its diameter. Thus, the thermal stratification of water is provided and the efficiency in use of tank-heat accumulator is improved.

The enameled tanks ATMOSFERA of Polish production with volumes of 200 or 300 liters are furnished with one or two heat exchangers. The high heating capacity is achieved thanks to use of spiral heat exchanger (coil) with large heating surface.

European energy efficiency class B

The long shelf life is achieved thanks to use of anode and porcelain enamel, baked at temperature of 850°C. The insulation is from polyurethane foam. The soft outside skin is made of skay-type material. Orange color.

The model range of Ukrainian heat accumulators ATMOSFERA includes 6 series of tanks with the volume from 350 liters to 10 tons, designed for utility and municipal heating and hot water systems. The industrial series of enameled tanks Atmosfera Prom includes the models with capacity from 1,000 to 10,000 liters and is specially designed for water heating and heat accumulation in different heating and hot water systems. These tanks have no integrated heat exchangers, while the available one or three flanges allow installing the built-in heat exchanges into tanks-accumulators of series Prom. Besides, the flanges may also be used for revision or cleaning. The inner surface of tanks Atmosfera Promo is covered with German polymer porcelain enamel. The tanks may operate under excessive pressure of up to 0.6 MPa with maximum operating temperature of 100°C. The soft foam polyurethane thermal insulation with 10 cm thick efficiently keeps the heat. The skin is made of artificial leather (enameled cloth).

The series of tanks Atmosfera Enamel with polymer ceramic coating of the inner wall is first of all designed for use in hot water systems. The accumulators of series Enamel may additionally be furnished with one or two heat exchangers from corrugated stainless steel AISI 304 with 0.3 mm thick. Two magnesium anodes 19×210 are built into the tanks for additional protection against corrosion. The tanks Atmosfera Enamel are furnished with revision flanges for cleaning and other scheduled maintenance during operation. The tanks Atmosfera Enamel are ideal for use in utility solar systems.

The tanks of series Enamel may operate under excessive pressure of inner liquid – transfer medium up to 0.6 MPa. The maximum operating temperature is 100°C. The thermal insulation is made from soft foam polyurethane with 60 cm thick. The skin is made of artificial leather (enameled cloth). All connecting fittings have the female thread.

The tanks of series BN include the buffer reservoirs from carbon steel without inner coating. The tanks-accumulators Atmosfera BN are primarily used to heat accumulation in heating systems or may be applied for hot water supply through one or two heat exchangers from carbon steel, or additional external heat exchangers.

The tanks of series BN may operate under excessive pressure of inner liquid – transfer medium up to 0.3 MPa. The maximum operating temperature is 100°C. The thermal insulation is made from soft foam polyurethane with 100 cm thick. The skin is made of artificial leather (enameled cloth). All connecting fittings have the female thread.

The tanks-accumulators of series PN from carbon steel is furnished with circulating upper heat exchanger from corrugated stainless steel AISI-304 with 0.3 mm thick and diameters of 25, 32 or 40 mm for hot water supply. The tanks Atmosfera PN may also have the additional built-in lower heat exchanger from carbon steel for connection of low temperature heat source, such as solar collector.

The series BB (tank in tank) includes the models of accumulating reservoirs from carbon steel without inner coating with built-in tanks from stainless chrome nickel steel AISI-304 for hot water supply. The inner boiler is equipped with magnesium anode for protection against scale. The tanks Atmosfera BB may also have one or two heat exchangers of direct heating from carbon steel.
